my group is working on rss feeds
my contribution to today is that i found two services that have to do with my topic
the first service i found is feed burner. since rss feeds are basically just an unprocessed string of code, this service processes it for you into something that people can understand without learning how to read code. it's very useful for people who just want to see what the rss code says
the second service i found is email to rss. this is mainly intended for businesses and websites who want to get people to come to their site. this service emails rss feeds to subscribers so they can easily access the things they've subscribed to. it notifies them in a modern way. it's incredibly effective at getting people to revisit a business or a website.
both services require you to make an account, and the second one requires you to pay for it

mr johnson told us to get a video and embed it on our blog. to do this, i went to hulu and typed "Community" into the sidebar. this led me to a bunch of community videos and i chose this one, which is the most recent episode. then, i pressed play and hit embed on the right side, which gave me a code to copy and paste into the HTML editor on this site.

oh ya also i put a jump break by clicking jump break
it was the experience of a lifetime

so in math i was wondering like what is the point of absolute values
to me they pretty much seem like an annoying waste of time
coincidentally mr johnson told me i needed more written content so i'm gonna write content about absolute values and what they do in math
SO EXCITING
ok so in math you probably know an absolute value as two bars that look kinda like
|x+2| = 4
so the way you would solve this is like
|x+2| = 4
(create two alternate things)
x+2=4 and x+2=-4
which gets you
x=2 or x=-6
now let's assume that neither answer is extraneous
that means the graph of the equation ( |x| +2 ) would look something like:
i know that's a different equation but i couldn't find a picture of |x+2|=4 online
that creates two alternate equal dimmensions
tomorrow i'll explain what it does in real life
because i think i've written enough for today
